Why Quality Assurance eats Quality Control for breakfast

JB Sourcing from Asia

We have all heard the stories about how controlling quality by final inspection before shipping is the best way to make sure your product is as per the specification you asked for. This can be a very time consuming and costly exercise if things go wrong and the product fails the inspection….What would happen if we focused more on the inputs before production starts to ensure we “get what we asked for” and “no surprises” when the product is made and ready to ship?

Below is a small chart I came across which helps explain in simple term the benefits of focusing more on what happens before product is produced rather than trying to catch any problems before the product leaves the factory.

At Lisar Sourcing we believe Quality Assurance is vital in achieving a successful outcome for our customers.
